I think back to my first collection of work that drove me to pursue photography. It was titled "my perspective" most of the images were taken in my home in Detroit. Pictures of my dog, dressing up my younger sister or self portraits. I created what I desired. As I grow I remind myself of those shoots. They may look ameatur next to current work but they matter. The thought developed into the things you create is what matters.
The freedom matters. The grind and the distance you would go matters. My perspective today has changed. Ideas are larger and I'm a lot closer than things seem. But there is one thing I believe should always stay and never be compromised with my work. That is the ability to create what I desire.
